PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING AROODA. BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR APPLICATION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Arooda AI (“Arooda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an AI-powered astrology entertainment and self-reflection application owned and operated by Arooda Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of operations in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Arooda mobile application, website, and any related services, features, content, or applications offered by Arooda (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you affirm that: (i) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy; (ii) you are at least 18 years of age; and (iii) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

The Service is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Arooda, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to individuals under the age of 18.

If you are located in a jurisdiction where the age of majority is greater than 18, you must meet that higher age requirement to use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate any account that we believe is held by or on behalf of a minor.

The Service is available globally, subject to applicable local laws and regulations. By using the Service, you represent that your use does not violate the laws or regulations of your country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, and birth details (date, time, and place of birth). You agree to keep this information current and accurate.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

Choose a strong, unique password and not share it with any third party
Notify us immediately at admin@arooda.life of any unauthorized use of your account
Ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session on shared devices
Not create multiple accounts or impersonate any other person or entity

We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, we will process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note that certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by applicable law or legitimate business purposes.

4. Description of the Service

4.1 Overview

Arooda provides an AI-powered platform that combines astrological analysis (Vedic and Western traditions) with personalized insights and self-reflection tools. The Service includes:

Insights: Weekly astrological insights mapped to life areas (Career, Family, Love, Finance, Health, Spiritual, Children, Education, Travel) and planetary movements, presented with support and resistance scores based on your natal birth chart and current transits
AI Chat: Conversational AI interactions with Arooda, personalized based on your birth chart, predisposition profile, and mood data
Mood Tracking: A structured mood update flow that captures your current emotional state, life concerns, and aspirations to improve the relevance of AI responses
Predisposition Survey: A personal behavioral analysis tool that identifies your vulnerabilities during specific planetary transits and delivers proactive reminders
Birth Chart and Planetary Dasha Analysis: Detailed astrological birth chart visualization and planetary period (Dasha) breakdowns

4.2 Nature of the Service

Arooda is an entertainment and self-reflection tool. Astrological interpretations are based on traditional and modern astrological systems and are provided for informational, inspirational, and entertainment purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, legal, or relationship counseling. See Section 10 (Disclaimers) for important limitations.

4.3 Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

5.1 Free Trial

New users are eligible for a 14-day free trial upon registration, subject to availability and eligibility requirements. During the free trial period, you will have access to the full features of the Service at no charge. You may cancel your subscription at any time during the 14-day trial period without incurring any charge. If you do not cancel before the end of the 14-day trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan as described below.

5.2 Subscription Plans

At the time of registration, you will be asked to pre-select a subscription billing plan: monthly or annual. The applicable subscription fee for your selected plan will be disclosed to you at the time of sign-up and is subject to change as described in Section 5.5. Both monthly and annual plans provide access to the full features of the Service. Features available under each plan are subject to change, and we will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to subscription benefits.

5.3 Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through your mobile platform provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) beginning on day 15 of your initial registration, in accordance with the plan you pre-selected. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You authorize us (through your platform provider) to charge the applicable subscription fee to your payment method on file at each renewal.

5.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. If you cancel during the 14-day free trial, no charge will be applied. If you cancel after the trial period, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access to the Service until that date. We generally do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or as determined at our sole discretion. All refund requests after the trial period must be directed to the respective app store platform.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of any price increase. Your continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

6. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

6.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service in a manner that is respectful, honest, and consistent with its intended purpose of entertainment and self-reflection.

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or algorithms underlying the Service
Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar mechanisms to access or collect data from the Service
Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
Transmit any content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security measures
Use any content from the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent

6.3 Content You Provide

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (e.g., mood inputs, chat messages, survey responses). By submitting content, you grant Arooda a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Data, Privacy, and Sensitive Information

7.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

7.2 Birth and Astrological Data

Arooda collects birth date, birth time, and birth location to generate astrological insights. You acknowledge that this information is essential to the functionality of the Service and consent to its use as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Mood and Emotional Data

Arooda collects mood, emotional states, concerns, and aspirations as part of the mood update feature. This data is used solely to personalize AI responses and improve Service quality. We treat this information with the highest level of care and do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7.4 AI Processing

Content you submit through the chat and mood features is processed by AI systems to generate personalized responses. By using these features, you consent to this processing. You should not submit information that you consider to be highly sensitive or that you would not want processed by AI systems.

7.5 Data Retention and Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. You may exercise this right at any time through the in-app account deletion feature or by contacting us at admin@arooda.life. We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and our data retention policies as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Arooda’s Intellectual Property

The Service and all content, features, and functionality thereof — including but not limited to the Arooda name and logo, software, algorithms, AI models, astrological calculation systems, user interface designs, graphics, text, and compilations — are owned by Arooda Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

No license or right is granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise with respect to any intellectual property rights, except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

8.2 Limited License to You

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Arooda grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to: (i) sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Service; (ii) copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content; (iii) use any data mining or extraction methods; or (iv) use the Service for the benefit of any third party.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service (“Feedback”), you grant Arooda a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, incorporate, and exploit such Feedback in any manner without any obligation to you.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or applications. These third-party services are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. We provide these links for convenience only, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement or recommendation by Arooda.

The Service is distributed through third-party platforms including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of those platforms is subject to those platforms’ own terms and conditions, which are separate from and independent of these Terms.

The Service utilizes third-party AI infrastructure providers to power its conversational and analytical features. These providers are subject to data processing agreements with Arooda as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Not Professional Advice

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL, ENTERTAINMENT, AND SELF-REFLECTION PURPOSES ONLY. AROODA IS NOT A LICENSED MEDICAL PROVIDER, MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, FINANCIAL ADVISOR, OR LEGAL ADVISOR. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL, PSYCHIATRIC, PSYCHOLOGICAL, FINANCIAL, OR LEGAL ADVICE.

Astrological insights and AI-generated responses provided through Arooda should not be used as a substitute for professional advice. If you require professional guidance on medical, mental health, financial, or legal matters, please consult a qualified professional. If you are experiencing a personal crisis or emergency, please contact the appropriate professional services or emergency responders in your jurisdiction immediately.

If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US), or your local emergency services immediately.

10.2 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

We do not warrant that: (i) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (ii) any astrological interpretations or AI-generated insights will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances; (iii) any defects in the Service will be corrected; or (iv) the Service will meet your expectations.

10.3 Accuracy of Astrological Content

Astrological interpretations are based on traditional and contemporary astrological frameworks and are generated using AI. They are inherently subjective, speculative, and for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. Arooda makes no representation that astrological insights reflect objective reality or predict future events with any degree of accuracy.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AROODA INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR PERSONAL INJURY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (i) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO AROODA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arooda Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) your use of the Service; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) content you submit to the Service; (iv) your violation of any third-party right; or (v) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at admin@arooda.life and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

13.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND AROODA EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. YOU MAY ONLY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST AROODA IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

13.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.

14. International Users

Arooda is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws and regulations of your local jurisdiction. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in every country.

14.1 European Union / EEA Users

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, additional rights and protections may apply to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle the personal data of EU/EEA residents, including your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

14.2 California Residents

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related regulations. Please review the California-specific provisions in our Privacy Policy for details on your rights and how to exercise them.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: (i) violation of these Terms; (ii) conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties; (iii) extended periods of inactivity; or (iv) our decision to discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 16.

You may terminate your account at any time by using the in-app account deletion feature. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees except as required by applicable law.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arooda concerning the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Arooda.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

16.5 Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising out of causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, failures of third-party infrastructure, or internet outages.

16.6 Notices
